State Fair!

This past week we headed up to the Alaska State Fair in Palmer. On the way, we picked up our new travel trailer that we bought! It's a great little trailer. It's a 1997 19 foot Prowler. It's perfect for our little family. After everything was squared away with the trailer, we headed to the fair. We met Alex's mom Sherrie and step dad Dan up there. We hit the fair gates right at 3pm. We had a really fun time checking out all the booths, exhibits, and eating all the good food! Not to mention the rides! Dain LOVED the carousel. He rode it twice. Alex, Dan and I went on the bumper cars which was really fun. Dain got bored in his stroller easily, so he ended up pushing his stroller quite a bit! It was very funny. We also entered Dain the Carhartt Fashion show. He was adorable up there with the other little kids all decked out in Carhartt apparel. Dain walked across the stage, then sat down put his hands in the air and gave everyone a huge smile. It was ADORABLE. Dain took 3rd place! Which won us a $50 carhartt gift certificate! We had so much fun with the fashion show. That evening we stayed in the trailer at the fair. It was very cozy. The next day we shopped a bit in Anchorage and then headed to Sterling. We enjoyed a bonfire at my mom's and said goodbye to Keith as he got ready to head back to Dubai.
